About CSI-01
CSI-01 is a completely independent friction material system designed exclusively for carbon ceramic composite brake discs — not compatible with steel rotors.
It delivers excellent fade resistance and high friction coefficients while protecting the delicate CCM disc surface. CSI-01 requires no high-temperature bed-in procedure — normal surface contact of 80% or more is sufficient for full performance.
Milestone: The GAC Trumpchi SSR — China’s first production supercar with factory carbon ceramic brakes — uses BARBARO CSI technology.
Key Features
🛡️
CCM Disc Protection
Dedicated formula designed specifically for carbon ceramic disc surfaces — protecting your investment.
✅
No High-Temp Bed-In
Normal 80% surface contact is sufficient — no complex high-temperature bed-in required.
🏆
OEM Proven
GAC Trumpchi SSR (China’s first production supercar with CCM brakes) uses BARBARO CSI technology.
🛡️
Fade Resistant
Excellent anti-fade performance ensuring consistent braking for CCM disc applications.
Best For
- Street-driven CCM disc vehicles
- Luxury and exotic car daily driving
- CCM disc replacement pads
- OEM specification applications
Recommended Vehicles
- Carbon ceramic disc-equipped vehicles (short fiber)
- Carbon ceramic disc-equipped vehicles (long fiber)
- GAC Trumpchi SSR
⚠️
CSI-01 is for street use on carbon ceramic discs only. Not suitable for off-road, track, or drift use. Carbon ceramic discs have complex material characteristics. Noise may occur due to the lightweight disc material’s high vibration frequency — this is normal. For CCM track applications, a specialized racing formula is required.
