In the world of brake pads, most brands are content to test in laboratories. At Barbaro CAC Racing, we test at 200 km/h — on the racetrack.
Rooted in Nearly 40 Years of Expertise
Our story begins in 1986 with the founding of Zhuhai Glory Group, a company dedicated to brake friction material research and manufacturing. For decades, the factory quietly built expertise in compound development, precision manufacturing, and quality control — the unglamorous but essential work of making brakes that don’t fail.
The Racing Chapter Begins
The Barbaro CAC Racing brand was born from a simple belief: the best way to develop brake pads is to race them. We formed our own racing team and took to the circuits of Asia — not as sponsors, but as competitors.
Today, the Barbaro CAC Racing team fields multiple cars across different series:
- The #444 Honda Fit — our endurance racing workhorse
- The #96 Subaru — campaigned in the Zhuhai 500km, where we finished runner-up
- The #75 Toyota GR86 — competing in sprint and endurance events
Competing Internationally
Our commitment to racing extends beyond China. The Barbaro team competes at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand, participating in the Idemitsu Super Endurance and Super Turbo D4 series. Racing internationally means testing our products against diverse conditions, tracks, and competition — every data point feeding back into better products.
Race to Road
Every lesson learned in competition translates directly to our street products. When we develop a new compound that survives 500 km of endurance racing, we adapt that technology for daily driving — maintaining the performance DNA while optimizing for comfort, noise, and longevity.
This is what makes Barbaro different. We don’t just sell brake pads. We prove them. Experience the difference →
